The Australian Government will celebrate the history, culture and achievements of First Australians through a grant round to support events to be held as part of National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee (NAIDOC) Week celebrations in July.

Screen Australia’s Indigenous Department is calling on new and emerging Indigenous filmmakers from across Australia apply to for Pitch Short Blacks, an initiative designed to bring 10-minute dramatic stories, authored and crafted by Indigenous people, to the screen.
