StoryLayneisha Sgro is the 2016 National NAIDOC Scholar of the Year. The Nyiyaparli, Bardi and Jabbir Jabbir woman from Broome is currently studying at the University of Melbourne and wants to use her skills and knowledge to help Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people gain self-determination.
