Nominations are now open for the 2013 National Indigenous Music, Sport, Arts and Community Awards, better known as the Deadlys.

More than 3000 people travelled to the remote Northern Territory community of Barunga over the June long-weekend for the 2013 Barunga Sports and Cultural Festival.

A 3on3 basketball, art, hip hop, rapping and break dancing festival – the Stronger Futures Alice 3on3 – will be held in Alice Springs on Wednesday 19 June.
