Eight of Australia’s top Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations have been selected from a record pool of 113 nominees in the prestigious 2014 Indigenous Governance Awards (IGA). The finalists hail from Australia’s remotest communities and busiest cities and represent a diverse range of sectors.

Come and celebrate over a decade of work with remote communities in the areas of dog health and welfare, education and research. The AMRRIC conference is unique, being the only event specifically focussed on animal management in Indigenous communities and is expected to attract approximately 250 delegates from around Australia and the world.

Indigenous Literacy Day aims to help raise funds to raise literacy levels and improve the lives and opportunities of Indigenous Australians living in remote and isolated regions. We need your support to help raise funds to buy books and literacy resources for children in these communities.

We're keeping it pretty casual at first. So come along to the Bakery for a drink and something to eat. Catch up with old friends and meet some new ones.

The Boordahwan Movement is all about providing our future leaders with a voice in the community, in society, and in politics.
