Australian actor named Patron for International Day of People with Disability
StoryAboriginal television and film actor, Aaron Pedersen, has been named Patron for International Day of People with Disability and the National Disability Awards for 2012. Mr Pederson is well suited to take on the role as 2012 patron, having taken care of his younger brother, who has cerebral palsy and a mild intellectual disability.

Exhibition shares the Working on Country story
StoryThe story of Australia’s hundreds of Working on Country rangers is on show in a photographic exhibition at the Australian National Botanic Gardens. Participants in the Australian Government’s Working on Country and Indigenous Protected Areas programs were invited to get out their cameras and start snapping for the third biennial Working on Country Photography Competition.
