The Woggaal Maadjit’s Eggs - This Place

George Walley and Frank Nannup of the Noongar Nation tell how the world famous thrombolites came to be.
For thousands of years, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have been naming places that were sacred or important to them.
This video is part of an ABC produced series named This Place. It tells the story behind one of these special places.
The thrombolites in Lake Clifton in WA are thought to be one of the first life forms on earth. George and Frank share how for the Noongar people, the thrombolites hold a significant place in their Dreaming stories and explain how the local waterways were created.
