Ashlyn from Broken Hill, NSW won the Encouragement Award at the Wudhagaragarra Awards for Excellence in Indigenous Education and shares her experience with ABC Heywire.

In a large auditorium in Dubbo NSW, almost a thousand kilometres from home, Ashlyn stood in front of the crowd and accepted the Encouragement Award at the Wudhagaragarra Awards for Excellence in Indigenous Education.
