ORIC Spotlight On - Grounding Aṉangu in Adelaide

Culture and Capability
Three men dancing in front of a crowd. The dancers are wearing black shorts, white paint on their chests and coloured armbands. Each arm band is holding a small branch with green leaves.

While supporting Adelaide-based Aṉangu through arts, language, knowledge, culture and community, Iwiṟi Aboriginal Corporation is itself growing strong.

Many Aṉangu live in Adelaide to access health, educational, employment or other opportunities.

In 2018, the Iwiṟi Aboriginal Corporation was founded to give the Adelaide-based Aṉangu community a voice, support their wellbeing, generate employment opportunities and sustain Aṉangu culture.

Find out how Iwiṟi Aboriginal Corporation are keeping the Aṉangu community strong in Adelaide in this month’s Spotlight On from the Office of the Registrar of Indigenous Corporations (ORIC).
