Newslines Radio caught up with Vivienne Duncan and Harry White from Mungindi in northern New South Wales, who spoke at the conference about their successful Murries on Barwon program.

Funded through the Australian Government’s Caring for our Country program, Murris on the Barwon provides work caring for the local environment

“In 12 months I’ve seen participants who were shy, who didn’t know which direction they wanted to go with their lives, who felt probably depressed and suppressed in the areas that they want to achieve, to people who are now employable,” Harry said.
