NAIDOC Week 2020: Always Was, Always Will Be

Celebrate N A I D O C Week Always Was Always Will Be 8 to 15 November 2020

Are you ready to celebrate National NAIDOC Week? Events are arranged around the country and online.

Celebrations for 2020 National NAIDOC Week kick-off this Sunday 8 November.

Events this year include exhibitions, yarning circles, arts and crafts activities, poetry and music, smoking ceremonies, storytelling, cooking demonstrations and more.

Many of these events are linked to this year’s theme, Always Was, Always Will Be. The theme recognises that First Nations people have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years and their spiritual and cultural connection to Country.

If your organisation is holding an event, make sure you add the details to the NAIDOC Week calendar.

Celebrations for NAIDOC Week 2020 will be different from previous years due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. To ensure a COVID-Safe celebration, some restrictions may apply at in-person events.
