To recognise the achievements and excellence of Supply Nation’s Indigenous Certified Suppliers and Members, nominations are now open for Supply Nation’s Connect 2014 Supplier Diversity Awards.
The annual conference provides an opportunity for Indigenous and non-Indigenous businesses to connect and celebrate successful partnerships.
The two day Sydney event begins on May 26 and this year coincides with National Sorry Day and the launch of Reconciliation Week.
Supply Nation CEO Charles Prouse said the awards are Australia’s highest recognition of companies, government agencies and individuals who strive to grow Indigenous business and enterprise.
“The theme of Connect 2014 is Leading Change in Business. Our awards across all nine categories recognise the achievements of our Certified Suppliers and Members amongst their peers, at a gala dinner and celebration,” Charles said.
“Often the successes of our Certified Suppliers and Members go unnoticed in the mainstream. The Connect 2014 Supplier Diversity Awards showcase the economic contribution through Indigenous business diversity across the nation.
“I urge Supply Nation Certified Suppliers and corporates and government members to enter the awards in 2014,” he said.
The gala dinner and Supplier Diversity Awards ceremony will be held on May 27.
