Keeping up with Medical Appointments

COVID-19
White tile with figures and words sits on a colourful tile with traditional designs. The words say: Stay up to date with medical appointments. Ask your clinic or medial service if some appoitments can be done at home over the phone or videoconference.

It is vitally important that you keep up with all your usual medical appointments.

Even though we are now being asked to stay home more to help stop the spread of coronavirus, it is very important that you keep up with all of your usual medical appointments.

You can now do some of your medical appointments over the phone or the internet using a service called Telehealth. Contact your local health service to find out if this is an option for you and how to get started.

If you still need to attend your appointment in person, that’s OK. Make sure you call your doctor or medical service first to check the wait time before going in, so you don’t have to wait too long in the clinic.

Staying healthy and keeping up with your appointments will help keep you healthy.
