The Indigenous Procurement Policy (IPP) was launched on 1 July 2015, making it easier for Australian Government agencies to work with Indigenous businesses.

The Indigenous Procurement Policy (IPP) was launched on 1 July 2015, making it easier for Australian Government agencies to work with Indigenous businesses.

The IPP will help build Indigenous business, ongoing employment opportunities and support community development. In the past year, Australian Government agencies have worked with 493 Indigenous businesses with contracts valued at around $284.2 million.

The businesses were all sizes – from small sole traders to large joint projects, covered a wide range of services and were and located across Australia. See some of the stories we have shared with businesses who are doing business with the Australian Government:
