Indigenous in Business Award finalist Ben Schaber

Ben Schaber from Aranda Country, is the owner of Specialised Welding and Engineering (SWEL) and a finalist in the 32nd Ethnic Business Awards Indigenous in Business category.

The 32nd Ethnic Business Awards (EBA) held in February includes the Indigenous in Business Award.

 

One of the finalists in this category was Ben Schaber, an Aranda man from Central Australia who owns Specialised Welding and Engineering (SWEL) in Alice Springs.

 

Watch him talk about his troubled upbringing, the time he decided to make a change and the successful business he has since built which is giving local unfortunate people like Ben used to be, an opportunity to have a go.
