COVID-19 can be dangerous for Elders or people who are already unwell.

It is important to avoid catching the flu this winter, as having both flu and COVID-19 at the same time will make your body weaker and could lead to more serious health problems.

You can protect yourself and your family from the flu by getting a flu shot.

The flu shot is free for all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

The flu shot will help to keep you and your family healthy and strong as well as keeping hospitals and clinics free to treat people suffering from coronavirus.

You can get your free flu shot at your GP, community health clinic or Aboriginal Medical Service.
