Craig and Treanna’s Story: Aboriginal Community Connect

Safety and Wellbeing
A woman with long hair and a man wearing a cap sit on a log seat. They are both dressed casually. In the background is foliage and beyond that, buildings.

Learn how Aboriginal Community Connect is transforming the lives of Craig and Treanna, bringing hope to them and others who have suffered the consequences of social disadvantage.

Aboriginal Community Connect (ACC) is an evidence-based, alcohol and other drugs (AOD) service model, delivered by Uniting Communities across South Australia.

The service works holistically with families to address the underlying causes of addiction such as social disadvantage, trauma, housing, social isolation, and mental health.

This video, part of a Uniting Communities series called Client Stories, features Craig and Treeana who share their story of rehabilitation after drug use and how they are  building a stable family environment.
