Celebrate NAIDOC Week - join community events and watch the National NAIDOC Awards ceremony.

This year, NAIDOC Week will run from 7 – 14 July with hundreds of individual celebrations held around Australia.

They will highlight the histories, rich cultures, and outstanding achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The Australian Government has supported hundreds of organisations to hold community events in all states and territories with many of the events focused on the theme: ‘Voice. Treaty. Truth – Let’s work together for a shared future.’

The week commences with the National NAIDOC Awards Ceremony in Canberra on Saturday 6 July.

This year’s Awards will be hosted by media personalities Sean Choolburra and Elaine Crombie, with entertainment featuring performances by Mi-Kaisha Masella, Dan Sultan, Casey Donovan, David Williams, Eip Karem Beizam, Christine Anu, Philly MC, Jimblah and the Merindas.

The event will be broadcast live on NITV (Ch. 34) or on SBS On Demand beginning at 6.30pm.
