Culture and Capability
7 NAIDOC Committee members in screen shots of video talking about an influential woman in their lives.

From mothers, to Aunts, to wives, each of their stories is a personal reflection of the women who have supported them.

‘Because of Her, We Can!’ the 2018 NAIDOC Week theme celebrates the essential role that women have played - and continue to play - as active and significant role models at the community, local, state and national levels.

To inspire us, remember and celebrate the role of women in our communities, members of the National NAIDOC Committee share their experiences about the women who have shaped their lives. From mothers, to Aunts, to wives, each of their stories is a personal reflection of the women who have supported them.
