Accor empowering Amyee
Qualifying for AccorHotel’s 2017 Hotel Management Traineeship program requires hard work and commitment. Wiradjuri woman Amyee McLaren has those qualities in abundance and is supported by EPI partners, AccorHotels Pacific.
Amyee McLaren’s hard work and commitment has enabled her selection for the 2017 Hotel Management Traineeship program.
This 12-month traineeship will provide her with experience and exposure in all hotel departments and the leadership and management skills necessary to achieve her goal.
Amyee is a proud Wiradjuri woman from Wellington NSW. Her outstanding people skills and passion for working in fast-paced environments inspired her to choose hospitality as a career.
She works as a Guest Service Agent at The Sebel Sydney in Chatswood. She is determined to become a Front Office Manager within the next five years.
Amyee received the Emerging Front Office Leader of Year award at the 2016 NSW/ACT Hotel Awards for her impeccable customer service and love of working with people. This achievement stands out as a major highlight of 2016 for Amyee.
Amyee’s advice to all other Indigenous employees wanting to build a career with Accor Hotels is always ask for help and be curious.
