Sharing evaluation learnings with community

Indigenous Advancement Strategy
Orange coloured tile with the text: Indigenous Advancement Strategy New digital evaluation tracker. At top left are two logos in white text and at bottom right are some dots and semi-circles arranged in a pattern.

A new digital tracker makes it easier for communities to see how policies and programs affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are being evaluated.

A new digital version of the National Indigenous Australians Agency’s Evaluation Work Plan makes it easier for communities to access evaluation findings about policies and programs affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

The digital Evaluation Work Plan provides details of planned, current and completed evaluations. The contents will be updated regularly as new evaluations are commissioned and when evaluation reports are published.

This work plan is a key output of the Indigenous Advancement Strategy (IAS) Evaluation Framework designed to ensure that evaluation of IAS programs is high quality, ethical, inclusive and focused on improving outcomes for Indigenous Australians.

The NIAA has made a commitment to sharing findings from evaluations publicly. The new digital format ensures easy access to individuals, communities and organisations involved in designing and delivering, or affected by, NIAA’s policies and programs.
