Round 3 Applications for the Commonwealth Scholarships Program for Young Australians now open
Open to young Indigenous Australians aged 15-24, the Commonwealth Scholarship for Young Australians enables young people to study an approved Vocational Education and Training (VET) course at Certificate III level to Advanced Diploma level.
Tranche 2 of Round 3 of the Commonwealth Scholarships Program for Young Australians is now open.
Open to young Indigenous Australians aged 15-24 to study an approved Vocational Education and Training (VET) course at Certificate III level to Advanced Diploma level.
Part-time and full-time courses are available in a range of industries identified as in demand in regional Australia, including but not limited to: healthcare, financial services, sports and recreation, science and construction.
Successful applicants will receive up to $5,000 per year in study assistance, as well as up to $3,000 to undertake a paid internship or work placement for 20 business days.
If you win a scholarship you can choose to study part-time or full-time.
The program will be delivered in:
NSW: Grafton and Gosford
NT: Alice Springs (all the Northern Territory excluding Darwin and the Darwin Outer Suburbs)
QLD: Maryborough and Townsville
SA: Port Pirie
TAS: Burnie
VIC: Shepparton
WA: Wanneroo and Armadale
