The passing of Uncle Lyall Munro Senior is a sad day for all Australians.

Mr Munro was a strong advocate for Indigenous rights and a leading figure in the establishment of Aboriginal Medical Services and Aboriginal Legal Services.

Australia is poorer for the loss of this remarkable man who displayed wisdom and profound understanding of Indigenous issues and whose achievements have improved the lives of Indigenous Australians now and into the future.

His private funeral commences 10:00am Saturday 11 July 2020 but is available to the public via an online broadcast at State Funeral for Uncle Lyall Munro Senior.
