Celebrate and learn this NAIDOC Week with resources for teachers and children’s activities available for download.

The National NAIDOC Committee had developed a series of teaching resources and ideas available to download for free.

These resources are designed to support teachers to address the cross-curriculum priority area Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Culture in the Australian Curriculum.

These resources provide content across multiple learning areas and stages/grades from Foundational Studies to Year 12. This material may also be relevant to VET and University students undertaking Indigenous Studies.

SBS is the NAIDOC Week Official Education Partner. SBS Learn has produced a range of NAIDOC Week 2020 Teaching Resources.

Designed for learners from Foundation to Year 10, these resources include activities, concepts and videos covering a broad range of topics across subject areas of English, Science, the Arts and HASS (Humanities and Social Sciences).

Both of these resources also include ways to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in classrooms beyond the dates of NAIDOC Week 2020.

NAIDOC poster colouring-in sheets are also available for the young and young at heart to get creative this NAIDOC Week.
