Do you know an Indigenous artist who is ready to get drawing, painting or colouring?

Entries are now open for the Children’s Christmas Card competition.

The competition is open to children aged 5-12 years of any artistic ability and who are enrolled in school.

Kids are encouraged to include this year’s theme ‘Christmas in my community’ into their design.

Schools, holiday centres, kid’s clubs, youth centres and out-of-hours care services are encouraged to get kids involved in this fun activity.

Entries close at 11:59pm, Sunday 31 October, with the winner to be announced in November.

The artist of the winning design will receive a prize pack and have their artwork featured on Minister for Indigenous Australians the Honourable Ken Wyatt MP’s 2021 Christmas Card. This card will be sent to hundreds of people who dedicate themselves to improving the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

If you know a creative or talented school aged student, encourage them to submit their design on the Christmas Card Competition website.
