Start your career in the Australian Public Service with the Indigenous Apprenticeship Program (IAP). Applications close 20 November 2020.

The Indigenous Apprenticeship Program (IAP) is an entry-level program for people of any age or life stage to start their career in the Australian Public Service (APS).

The IAP is a 12-month program offering a full-time, entry-level position and competitive salary.

Positons will be offered in over 100 locations, in every state and capital city across Australia, including regional and remote areas.

There are a variety of roles on offer including administration, policy and program development, service delivery, finance, human resources and information technology.

During this program, apprentices will complete a Certificate IV or Diploma in Government.

Upon successful completion of the program, apprentices will advance the next APS level at their department or agency.
