Harbour Trust invites the First Nations community to Have Your Say
The Harbour Trust is inviting the First Nations community to have a say on the Draft Concept for the future of North Head / Car-rang-gel (Manly).
The Harbour Trust is inviting the First Nations community to have a say on the Draft Concept for the future of North Head / Car-rang-gel (Manly) and Draft Concept Vision for Cockatoo Island / Wareamah (Sydney Harbour) via a series of yarning sessions, a survey OR fill in a EOI for a one on one interview.
The Harbour Trust acknowledges that Car-rang-gel (North Head) and Wareamah (Cockatoo Island) hold significant historical importance for Aboriginal people in New South Wales. The First Nations voice is critically important to the conversation about Car-rang-gel (North Head) and Wareamah (Cockatoo Island's) future.
We invite all Traditional Owners and key knowledge holders from both areas surrounding Car-rang gel (North Head) and Wareamah (Cockatoo Island) as well as Greater Sydney to engage with us.
The Harbour Trust has again engaged Two Point Co. for the First Nations consultation project. Two Point Co. is a 100% Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander owned consultancy, specialising in First Nations engagement through strategy design, facilitation, community consultation and social impact assessment.
The Director of Two Point Co, Jason Timor, said. “The First Nations voice is critically important to shape the future of Wareamah and we are encouraging the community, Traditional Owners and key knowledge holders to take part.”
