Take part in our survey

We are keen to hear from those involved in the Indigenous visual arts sector about ways to help the industry grow.

To make it easy to provide feedback, we have launched a survey. It will take between 15-20 minutes to share your views on how the Australian Government can best support the sector to:

  • promote ethical dealing
  • continue to deliver economic opportunities for Indigenous artists, and
  • grow the market.

It is part of the Growing the Indigenous Visual Arts Industry consultation, which opened on 2 September 2020.

Your feedback will help inform the development of an Indigenous Visual Art Action Plan to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander visual artists and their cultural and economic interests, which we expect to release in 2021.

The survey covers the 4 main themes in the consultation paper: sustainable growth, capacity building, access to market and legal protections.

You may participate in both the survey and the written submission process. The consultation and survey both close on 18 December 2020.
