The Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment, on behalf of the Minister for the Environment, is seeking expressions of interest to fill upcoming multiple vacancies on the Indigenous Advisory Committee (IAC).

Are you an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person with expertise in Indigenous land and sea management, conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity, and/or cultural heritage management?

The Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment, on behalf of the Minister for the Environment, is seeking expressions of interest from Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples to fill upcoming multiple vacancies on the Indigenous Advisory Committee (IAC).

The IAC provides expert Indigenous advice to the Minister for the Environment on the operation of the EPBC Act. The Committee considers the significance of Indigenous peoples’ knowledge of the management of land and the conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity.
