The Disability Royal Commission’s public hearing from 23 November will explore the experiences of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with disability.

The Disability Royal Commission’s public hearing from 23 November will explore the experiences of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with disability and their families in contact with child protection systems. 

Some people will have never shared their story or reached out for support before. 

Support is available through 68 providers across Australia, including Indigenous-run organisations in Western Australia, South Australia, Northern Territory and Queensland; and Indigenous Community Advocates are also available in identified communities.
