All upcoming Brisbane conferences will be held at the Mercure Brisbane North Quay. ICS guarantees that these conferences give delegates the opportunity to enlarge your network and information base, thus empowering all delegates to make greater informed decisions within their professional and extended communities. Furthermore, it has been proven time and time again that events such as this empower and reinvigorate workers with new ideas and enthusiasm, with a greater feeling of support and new contacts that may be utilised for the betterment of their own local community.

Whether you are an allied health professional, NDIS participant, disability worker, medical professional or in an administrative clerical role within the organisation, these conferences will provide excellent opportunities to gain and share information that will be of use to you and your organisation back in your community as all upcoming conferences are designed from an Indigenous perspective, in which we all lend support to each other regardless of our employers. ICS success is based upon our principle of trusting our culture and listening and adhering to our grassroots, community-controlled grounding and as part of this, our future planning is open to input from communities and grassroots individuals. With this in mind, we are extremely keen to receive input and ideas of topics of concern from around Australia which may not have the chance to be addressed in the previous year’s conference topics and agenda.

We consider ourselves to be privileged to meet such talented, diverse and professional individuals and dynamic groups last year. We wish to say thank you and our heartfelt gratitude to everyone for your dedication in closing the gap. Moreover, we look forward to working with individuals, community-controlled organizations, governments and non-government organisations in a not too distant future. With your support, we will strive to making 2020 an even more meaningful year in professional education for our mob! So, we invite you to be proactive in closing the gap!
