Expressions of interest now open for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples aged between 18-30 to join the Australian Canadian Indigenous Health and Wellbeing Youth Committee.
Expression of Interest – Indigenous Allied Health Australia
Indigenous Allied Health Australia are developing a committee of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people who are interested and passionate about advancing the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Australia and First Nations people in Canada.
The committee will be made up of (up to 20) Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander professionals and community advocates aged between 18-30.
The Australian group will work with a partner group of First Nations people in Canada. Collectively the committee will work to identify common priority areas relevant to Indigenous young people and develop a workplan to advance the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and First Nations young people.
The committee is looking for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people who are interested and passionate about advancing the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Australia and First Nations people in Canada.
The committee is a subgroup of the Canada and Australia Indigenous Health and Wellbeing Working Group established in 2017.
Applications will close on the 30th of June 2020.
