Advice for your small business from the Australian Small Business Advisory Service

The Australian Small Business Advisory services has a variety of tools and services to help your small business.

To adapt to the ever-increasing challenges faced by small businesses, you can now access your first service offering from the Australian Small Business Advisory Service (ASBAS) program for free.

Get help to use digital tools to save you time and money, and grow your business in areas such as:

  • How digital tools can help small business
  • Websites and selling online
  • Social media and digital
  • Small business software
  • Online privacy and cyber security

ASBAS services are available across all metropolitan and regional areas for sole traders and small businesses with less than 20 full-time (or equivalent) employees.

Services can be offered one-to-one to provide tailored support, or through group workshops or webinars. Small business operators who continue with the program can access a range of services for a small cost.

ASBAS providers also offer general business advice, information and support to businesses affected by COVID-19.

Services include:

  • business crisis management and business continuity planning
  • finance management and boosting cashflow
  • staff management and creating a safe work environment
  • retaining and staying connected to customers
  • resilience and wellbeing
  • COVID-19 stimulus packages for small business
