Applications for the 2022 Indigenous Apprenticeships Program are open now.

The Indigenous Apprenticeships Program (IAP) provides an entry-level pathway for people at any point in their life and career to enter the Australian Public Service (APS).

The 12 month program offers successful applicants a permanent, full-time, entry-level position within the APS, with opportunities to further your career.

Apprentices in the program will complete either a Certificate IV or a Diploma in Government, whilst they work.

Roles are offered across various departments and apprentices will be given the choice of where in Australia they would like to work and what they would like to do.

Graduates from the program will then advance to the next APS level.

Find out more about this program from past participants Karen, Skye, Sam and Blake.
